St Johns County 4-H news and awards

Over 200 4-H members and supporters including Commissioners Cyndi Stevenson and Ron Sanchez attended the St. Johns County 4-H Awards Banquet on June 30th at the Agricultural Center according to a media release received by Historic City News.

At the banquet, 4-H college scholarships totaling $2,250 were awarded to three high school seniors who have displayed outstanding leadership, citizenship, and project work throughout their 4-H experience.

A delegation of five youth attended 4-H Legislature in Tallahassee in June for a week long event allowing students to experience the Florida State Legislative process during a mock session.
