Mica to meet with local commissioners Monday

A special joint meeting of local commissioners and U.S. Congressman John L. Mica has been announced to the St. Johns County local news desk of Historic City News.

Alison Ratkovic, Administrative Coordinator for the Office of the City Manager, notified the entire board today that on Monday morning, February 8, 2010, at 10:00 A.M., members from the City Of St. Augustine Commission, St. Johns County Board of Commissioners, City Of St. Augustine Beach Commissioners and the Town Of Hastings Commissioners will meet with Congressman John L. Mica to discuss federal appropriation requests.

The meeting will be held in the Virginia Room of the Ringhaver Student Center of Flagler College on Sevilla Street.

    Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of St. Johns County, Florida, will hold a joint special meeting on Monday, February 8, 2010, at 10:00 am in the Virginia Room at the Flagler College Ringhaver Student Services Center, 50 Sevilla Street, St. Augustine, Florida.

    The purpose of the joint special meeting will be to meet with Congressman John Mica, the City of St. Augustine Commission, the St. Augustine Beach Commission and the Hastings Town Commission for a Legislative Session update and funding allocations.

    The Board may also discuss and take action on any other business that may lawfully come before it during the joint special meeting.
