We shot through 1,000 Facebook friends today

| July 12, 2010 | 3 Comments

Historic City News is the creation of today’s technologies — we don’t cling to old fashioned notions or outdated methods of distributing news of interest to residents in the St. Augustine area.

We are very much a community paper — without the wasted paper or toxic ink; which is another benefit to our earthen community.

In addition to publishing content at our http://historiccity.com/ website, we stream our content to readers on social networks like Twitter and Facebook — so anytime, day or night, seven days a week you have access to articles and local information when you want it and how you want it delivered.

Today we shot threw a thousand Facebook friends and are well on our way to our next thousand readers on that media. Our website also feeds headline news to St. Augustine’s largest Internet portal, Old City Web Services and Auglink Communications.

News has a short shelf life. Readers want to know now — and they want access to news information on their own terms.

We see our continued growth as proof that readers like what we are offering.

Thanks for supporting Historic City News.
