First Coast PT Cruisers reported to Historic City News that they held “Cruise into History IV” — a Mother’s Day Classic on May 5th, 6th and 7th at the Days Inn located at 1300 N Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine.

In addition to the judging in the Parade of Lights and Neon competition and three days of other events, the club created and sold a colorful “Cruise into History” t-shirt with commemorative artwork; printed on a 100% cotton shirt.

The artwork represented the spirit and atmosphere of the show and the historic city in which it’s held.

The club promised, “You will cherish this T-shirt for years to come,” however, they reminded everyone of the charitable reason for the shirt.

“This is a major part of our fund-raising efforts,” the members explained.

Betty Griffin House reported that the organization donated $2,500 from t-shirt sales as part of their event.
