The St. Johns County School District is facing a $10 million budget shortage for 2009 and says all district budgets will be reduced by 25 percent and all school budgets by 20 percent, making a $1 million reduction.
Deputy David Blanton was called to the 6000 block of Catlett Road yesterday to investigate the complaint of a homeowner who reported that she is the victim of theft of jewelry and other personal property totaling over $1,300.00.

Monday, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office released the winter 2008 issue of their public information periodical; Community Watch Magazine. Included in this quarter’s issue is the 2007 Annual Report that details services provided and costs associated with the various divisions and bureaus within the agency.
