Another St. Johns County bank robbery
Historic City News received word from Sgt. Charles Mulligan that the Sheriff’s Office is working a bank robbery that occurred this morning at the Bank of America location at Wildwood Drive and US 1 South.

Another look at city budget Monday
City Commissioners will take another look at staff efforts to close an estimated $1.7-$1.8 million shortfall in next year’s budget at a public workshop at 3:30 p.m. in the Alcazar Room on Monday.

SJSO Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that two men have been arrested and a third is being sought after they led investigators on a chase that sent one of the suspects to the hospital.

Historic City News has learned that two Duval County women are in custody in connection with an attempted robbery of a St. Johns County woman at her home on Friday afternoon.
Sparrow killed in car crash
According to a report received by Historic City News yesterday evening, deputies with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit are investigating a single car crash involving a fatality late Friday afternoon.
Sheriff seeks armed robbery suspect
Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a Ponte Vedra Beach convenience store last night.
